What We Do

Biogas

At GREIO,We believe that every drop of waste holds the potential to power change. Our biogas initiative transforms organic waste into clean, renewable energy reducing pollution, cutting carbon emissions, and improving rural livelihoods. Through community-based biogas plants, we’re not only producing sustainable fuel but also promoting a circular economy that benefits people and the planet. Together, we’re turning waste into opportunity for a greener, more resilient future. What is Biogas? Biogas is a renewable energy source produced from the anaerobic digestion of organic materials such as cow dung, poultry litter, crop residues, food waste, and other biodegradable matter. In this natural process, microorganisms break down organic waste in an oxygen-free environment inside a biogas digester, generating a mixture primarily composed of methane (CH₄) and carbon dioxide (CO₂). This gas can be used for cooking, heating, electricity generation, and even as vehicle fuel once refined. The by-product, known as bio-slurry, is a nutrient-rich organic fertilizer that enhances soil fertility and boosts agricultural productivity—creating a circular, waste-free economy. Our Biogas Technology and Approach At GREIO, we design, build, and maintain biogas systems tailored to the energy needs of rural households, farms, and institutions. Our solutions emphasize affordability, reliability, and sustainability using locally available materials and community participation.

Renewable Energy

GREIO considers clean energy not just a source of power but a driver of transformation. • Installation of biogas plants, solar home systems, solar irrigation pumps, and biomass units across rural and hilly regions. • Reducing dependence on firewood, kerosene, and coal, thus minimizing air pollution and deforestation. • Providing renewable energy facilities for community centers, schools, and health clinics, creating sustainable social infrastructure. • Promoting energy self-sufficiency for families and local institutions as a foundation for rural development.

Tree Plantation

The Tree Plantation Program is one of the core environmental and social initiatives of the Greenway Renewable Energy Implementation Organization (GREIO). At a time when climate change, deforestation, and land degradation threaten ecosystems and human well-being, GREIO is taking proactive action to restore nature, strengthen biodiversity, and empower rural communities through large-scale, sustainable tree plantation campaigns. We believe that trees are the lifeline of the planet they purify the air we breathe, store carbon to fight global warming, regulate water cycles, and provide food, shade, and shelter for both people and wildlife. Through this initiative, GREIO promotes tree plantation not only as an environmental responsibility but as a socio-economic development strategy linking renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and rural livelihoods. Each tree planted today represents hope for a greener, healthier, and more resilient future for generations to come.

Bio Fertilizer

Turning Waste into Wealth for Sustainable Farming Bio-fertilizer represents one of the most innovative and sustainable solutions in modern agriculture—a natural way to restore soil fertility, improve crop yields, and reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers. Through its renewable energy initiatives, Greenway Renewable Energy Implementation Organization (GREIO) promotes the production and use of bio-fertilizer derived from biogas plants and organic waste. This approach not only protects the environment but also empowers farmers to adopt eco-friendly, cost-effective, and regenerative farming practices, strengthening both soil health and rural livelihoods.
