GREIO works directly with rural households, coastal populations, and indigenous, tribal, and ethnic communities across Bangladesh to ensure that development is green, inclusive, and people-centered.

Through renewable energy access, capacity building, and livelihood development, GREIO empowers people from all walks of life especially women, youth, and marginalized groups to lead sustainable and resilient lives.

Every initiative under GREIO promotes a balance between economic progress and environmental protection, ensuring that no one is left behind in the journey toward a cleaner, greener, and more equitable future.

The organization particularly focuses on rural, coastal, tribal, indigenous, and ethnic communities — ensuring they have access to clean energy, sustainable livelihoods, and knowledge that empowers them to thrive independently.

GREIO considers clean energy not just a source of power but a driver of transformation.
• Installation of biogas plants, solar home systems, solar irrigation pumps, and biomass units across rural and hilly regions.
• Reducing dependence on firewood, kerosene, and coal, thus minimizing air pollution and deforestation.
• Providing renewable energy facilities for community centers, schools, and health clinics, creating sustainable social infrastructure.
• Promoting energy self-sufficiency for families and local institutions as a foundation for rural development.

2. Sustainable Agriculture and Livelihoods
