Women’s Empowerment

• Promoting women-led biogas, solar energy, and clean cooking projects to strengthen women’s leadership in renewable energy.
• Providing hands-on training in livestock management, organic fertilizer production, kitchen gardening, and sustainable agriculture practices.
• Encouraging women’s entrepreneurship through eco-friendly product development, value chain creation, and access to green business opportunities.
• Supporting clean cooking technologies (such as biogas and improved stoves) that save time, enhance family health, and reduce fuel costs.

Youth Empowerment

1.     Digital & Technical Skill Development:
Providing practical training in digital literacy, computer operation, and online marketing to enhance employability and prepare youth for the digital economy.

2.     Renewable Energy Training:
Offering hands-on learning in solar, biogas, and clean energy system installation, operation, and maintenance enabling green job opportunities and entrepreneurship.

3.     Youth-Led Smart Agriculture Projects:
Supporting innovative youth initiatives in climate-smart farming, sustainable livestock, and technology-based agricultural systems to strengthen rural economies.

Linking Empowerment with Renewable Energy & Clemet action 

GREIO integrates renewable energy and Clemet action directly into its empowerment programs.
For example:

️ Women operate biogas plants for clean cooking and earn additional income through bio-fertilizer production and sales.

️Youth receive practical training in solar panel, inverter, and biogas unit installation and maintenance creating sustainable green jobs in rural areas.

️ GREIO Renewable Energy Centers serve as community training hubs offering digital literacy, online marketing, and green entrepreneurship development programs.

️ Women farmers use solar-powered irrigation systems and smart agriculture technologies to increase productivity while reducing costs and carbon emissions.

️ Organic waste from biogas systems is recycled into bio-fertilizer, improving soil health, crop yield, and rural environmental quality.
