The Greenway Climate Training Hub (GCTH) is an innovative
initiative of the Greenway Renewable Energy Implementation Organization
(GREIO), designed to develop a climate-conscious, skilled, and
self-reliant generation in Bangladesh.
Located at Sheorapara, Mirpur, Dhaka, the hub serves as a national-level
center for training, research, and innovation on renewable energy,
sustainable agriculture, and climate resilience.
By bridging technology, community, and sustainability, the
hub inspires both rural and urban communities including indigenous and
marginalized groups to actively engage in climate action and environmental
protection.
The hub’s mission is to equip individuals particularly women, youth, and
farmers with the knowledge, skills, and technology needed to
adapt to climate change, protect natural resources, and advance green
livelihoods.
GREIO envisions a climate-smart Bangladesh, where renewable
energy, sustainable agriculture, and environmental responsibility work together
to ensure long-term prosperity for all communities, including ethnic minorities
and indigenous peoples.
